About Me

My name is Aziza Brown, I am a 24 year old, passionate creator, looking to share my art with the world starting from my hometown, Toronto!

I have a huge passion for fashion, which started in my mid-teens. My first love was modeling. I started modeling at 16 years old, but not until 18 did it became sort of a profession.

I always had a sense of style and fashion growing up. I would wear the funkiest tracksuits in middle school, with the craziest color combinations, I was a fashion dare devil! Around 14 years old my love for designing ignited when my mother got me an art book. I'd draw and sketch outfits I'd hope one day to physically create. Once I got to high school I began altering clothes, making clothes by hand, I didn't have a sewing machine at the time. I was in love with the idea of making/altering my regular clothes to make it more "me"!

Throughout the years of experimenting and evolving with fashion, I grew a great support wagon for "Aziza's style". My friends, family and social media followers encouraged me to get into some sort of fashion designing career! That's when my passion for styling bloomed!

I started my fashion page via Instagram in fall 2014. With only a few follwers on my new fashion page, 6lackADaima, I consistently uploaded, my latest OOTD (outfit of the day), along with features and collaborations! I had a great buzz and realized I was gaining a rapid following, that is when I took a simple blog idea and created a career, fashion and wardrobe stylist.

I am pleased to have collaborated with awesome individuals who share similar creative ideas as me, and look forward to work with more local fashionistas!
